Practicing Through the Holidays: How to Remain Centered
"Every action you take is a vote for the person you wish to become."
― James Clear, Atomic Habits
How strong is your practice during the holidays? Not just on the mat or meditation cushion, but in real life... Can you show up as your best self? Stay calm, clear and centered? Maintain poise?
The holidays aspire to be a time of connection, joy, and celebration. But most experience the season as stressful, difficult, even painful. What goes wrong? And what can we do about it?
I propose practice. And not just poses. The aim needs to be bigger and broader. Practice to calibrate your nervous system. Clear your mind. Settle into your body. and STAY WITH YOURSELF.
But… there is an unfortunate tendency to "lose" practice when you need it most. Because you're pulled in different directions, stressed, maybe even an emotional mess.
This is why practice needs to be flexible, malleable, adaptable. Experience how sweet, simple, and sustainable practice can be with a Week of Miracles.
Monday 12/12 through Friday 12/16, there will be a “20-minute miracle” each day from 8 - 8:20am PST. You’ll join via Zoom for a led practice of movement, meditation or breathwork. No camera, no check-in, just 20-minutes of pure practice.
Disclaimer: Your practice is not a magic wand. It will not reduce the quantity of events you have to attend. It cannot transform obnoxious relatives. Anxiety or loneliness may still creep in. But it will give you tools, perspective, and resilience. As your INTERNAL environment stabilizes, the EXTERNAL environment feels different too.
Join us for this live experiment in practice. 5 days. 5 diverse practices. All designed for you to feel miraculous in just 20-minutes.

May your practice make miracles,
